Go Here - Roots Zero Waste Market - This past week was my first time trying Roots & I’m not kidding when I say I will be here every week. They offer local, organic produce including raw dairy products & fresh bread. Along with all of that, find household + personal care products that low-tax, vegan, perfume & everything free like laundry detergent, cleaners, oral care, hair care, deodorant & face care- much of it offered in bulk quantities. Their cafe offers new menus each day depending on what they have in store to whip up! We held book club here & I got my groceries at the same time… this is a one-stop-shop for those of you looking for healthy & clean options! 

Do This - Payette Brewing Oktoberfest - Have friends that dress up in German wear? We do & they always try try to win Mr + Mrs. Oktoberfest, so, dress up! It’s worth it! This weekend, Friday through Sunday, catch one of the best fall events of the year. We love just about everything Payette Brewing does, but this just might be our favorite. Live music, food trucks, balloon artists, games & of course, incredible beer… everyone is welcome including your dogs, bring the whole family! German food including German sausages, brats, spatula, bier cheese soup, pretzels & this year- Berryhill BACON.

Shop That - Simply Sweet by Holly - Calling all of my gluten-free friends! Holly has the solutions to all of your dessert needs for your sweet nighttime treat, weddings, parties or gifts. She makes the most delicious cinnamon rolls, cookies, breads & pastries- she even lets you vote on what she should make each week on her Instagram stories! You can DM her on Instagram to order, or find her most Saturdays at the Eagle Farmers market & in the deli case at Hyde Perk Coffee. She & her treats are simply the best! 

Move It - Run or Walk the Fit One Race - Join one of Boise’s largest race events this Saturday! Three distances are offered- 5k, 10k & a half marathon- all ran along the Greenbelt, Boise River + many Boise landmarks & finishing by the Idaho State Capitol. What better weather could you ask for for a race? Fall is here & it is running season! I’ll be running it with a bunch of friends & would love to run with you or see you at the start or finish!
