Go Here - Highlands Hollow Brewhouse - Dubbed as ‘Boise’s Oldest (micro)Brewery,’ this has quickly become one of our go-to’s as of lately. It’s the spot to be after a long day skiing at Bogus, or to grab a beer at after a long mountain bike ride. We love their hand cut fries, huckleberry burger & rotating specials. Not to mention, their decor is cozy & historical including exposed wooden rafters that were part of the old BSU stadium, one of the most extensive collections of coasters + old chairlift seats out front. 

Do This - Warm Springs Care Farm - This non for profit sits in the East End & may just be one of the coolest additions to the neighborhood. Join their mission is to “improve the mental health & well-being of families with restorative care farm experiences & therapies at their Fall Fundraiser this Sunday, September 29th from 3-6pm! Click on the link below to buy tickets + explore more about the farm & all they are doing, including offering programs such as: animal care, music classes, animal-assisted therapy, barn club & ample volunteer opportunities. 

Shop That - Now That’s a Deal - Calling all thrifters + your friends who may be hesitant… a new type of thrifting is here! Open Tuesday through Saturday, with decreasing prices each day ($8 to $0.25), all you need to bring is your own bag. If you’re wanting the best items, you’ll want to get their early & run in to all of the bins full of all types of items! You can also register for their online auctions where you can make bids & pick up your items later. 

Move It - Nerfed - Never have I ever seen a better idea for a kid birthday party (or just a fun playdate/family date). My 8-year-old cousin threw his here this past weekend & it was joyful, chaotic, madness with nerf bullets going every which way. Nerfed just opened up their new location on Overland which has multiple rooms you can reserve for groups + a large arena for the nerf wars! You can bring your own nerf guns or use the ones they provide there. A perfect alternative to painful paintball!
