Go Here - Weekend Brunch at Percy - The Wylder Group has some of our favorite restaurants in town hands down & Percy happens to be at the top of that list. Typically, people think of it as a dinner restaurant but if you haven’t had their brunch… you NEED to. Most of us are suckers for anything & everything sourdough right now with the hype around starters, homemade loafs & the gut benefits- so, you have to order the sourdough pancakes. You will not be disappointed! Brunch is only offered on Saturdays & Sundays, but you can make a reservation, so skip the wait!
Do This - Reserve the Pickleball Courts at Kleiner Park - One of our best friends reserved these courts to celebrate her birthday. We had an incredible & competitive pickleball tournament on 2 of the courts (4 total). Pack your coolers with grapes, sandwiches, all the charcuterie makings & La Croix to make the day even more enjoyable! The courts are so well done & have ample grass space around them to use for a picnic area, viewing area or play area for kiddos. Pro tip = bring some tents if you want shade because there is not a ton of shelter. Click on the link to view times & schedules for reservations!
Shop That - Molly’s Healthy Pet Food Market - When we first got our pup, Feelo, we didn’t know anything about dog food. Molly’s was there to advise, encourage & answer all the questions we had. We found a great dog food for him there, as well as some yummy treats like dog IPAs & our favorite treats from Idaho Barkery. If you need the basics for your pet or want something special for them, stop by their store downtown & support local! They also have a killer rewards program + dog washing section of the store that we’ve used when in a pinch!
Move It - Take a KA RIDE Class at PIVOT - PIVOT has been our go-to gym for the past 4 years. There are two locations, one in downtown Boise & one on Ten Mile in Meridian. We love it for many reasons: it’s 24/7 access, high-quality gym equipment & their offered classes. KA RIDE are 45-minute cycle classes signed & endorsed by Kristin Armstrong herself (Olympic Gold Medalist & Pivot founder). That being said, they are HARD- but good, hard. One of the best ways to kickoff your day or supplement your half marathon, marathon, or Ironman training. These differ from your typical SoulCycle or CyleBar classes in the way that they mimic an outdoor mountain bike or road bike ride. If you are interested in ever trying one, you can sign up on Mind and Body or reach out to me & be my guest!
