What We’d Do In Boise This Week…

Go Here - Crisp - This local food truck now has a permanent home! Parked at the new hotel, The Sparrow downtown, the airstream serves a variety of “globally inspired & locally sourced food.” Their menu & schedule changes weekly, so be sure to follow their Instagram to keep tabs on what they are up to! Typically, they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert with options from smoothies to pastrami to curry to Cloverleaf ice cream. We haven’t been yet, but I am eyeing their schedule to make it down this week! 

Do This - Art in The Park - One of our favorite Boise events is happening this weekend! Growing up, our tradition was to pick out a pair of earrings for my mom here every year, such sweet memories! Head over to Julia Davis Park to find all of the handmade goods you could ever imagine. Booths are set up lining the park offering paintings, jewelry, clothes, bags & so much more that can’t be named… oh, & there is some pretty good food offered, like Pronto Pups. So, if you didn’t get to have one at the fair, here’s your second chance! 

Shop That - Baby Blues & Pink - This boutique has quickly become one of our favorites downtown! They carry the cutest baby clothes, as well as some carseats, strollers + baby gear & maternity wear. It was the first place we went to grab a baby outfit when we found out we were pregnant! Shawna, the owner, is so thoughtful about the brands that she brings in. I know I can always trust that the products there are high quality & only the best to put our daughter in. It’s also one of the best places to grab a baby gift- make sure to ask for it gift wrapped & you can get it placed in a pink or blue box! 

Move It - Boise Run Clubs - Run clubs have become all of the rage lately & we are HERE for it! Whether you are new to running or advanced, there is a running community for you to join. Boise has a number of run clubs that meet at different times, places & on different days of the week. A few notable ones are: Boise Run Club (meet Tuesdays at 6:30, Instagram = @boiserunclub), Wolfpack Run Club (meet at Barbarian Brewing in Garden City, Tuesdays at 7pm, Facebook = Wolf Pack Running Club) Cowgill Trail Collective (Instagram = @cowgillboise) & Lazy Sunday Run Club which we host at our house Sundays @ 7am for hikers & runners!
